September at the studio was all about performance, training, and getting ready for what’s ahead. With the start of our Performance Batch and a lineup of workshops across different styles, the month brought in a good mix of learning, choreography, and preparation.

We kicked things off on 5th September with a choreography workshop by Donny Allstars, set to ‘Risk It All ‘by Kwn. The session brought a strong focus on performance, musicality, and working through the details of the choreography.

The following day, on 6th September, Donny Allstars continued with another choreography session, this time set to ‘No One Else’ by Chris Brown. Having two sessions back to back gave dancers a chance to explore a different track while continuing to work on movement quality and performance.

On 18th September, Tanisha Maheshwari brought a Heels choreography workshop to the studio, set to ‘Kaisi Paheli Zindagani’. The session focused on movement, lines, musicality, and finding confidence within the choreography. It was a chance to explore a different movement vocabulary while staying connected to the music and performance.

The month continued on 25th September with ‘Dakla 2’, a Garba choreography workshop by Uttara Kothari. The session gave dancers a chance to explore Garba through choreography, rhythm, and movement. The energy in the room was lively, with everyone getting into the rhythm and working through the choreography. It was a fun change of pace and a chance to experience a different style of movement. Overall, the session brought together music, movement, and the energy of Garba in a great way.

This month also marked the start of our Performance Batch. Three months of performance training, across different styles, leading up to the grandest showcase of the year.

With 20 classes to train, build, rehearse, and perform, the batch is designed to take dancers through the complete process of preparing for the stage. Each class adds to the choreography, technique, performance quality, and overall experience.

It’s not just about learning a routine. It’s about showing up consistently, working together, and seeing everything come together on stage after three months of training.

If you’re part of the batch, this is where the work begins.
