Meet our Instructors!

I’m Arunn Rathinam, also known as AR. For over 20 years, I've lived and breathed hip-hop, not just as a performer, but as a teacher dedicated to sharing the art form. My classes are all about giving you the tools and insights you need to truly move your dancing forward. It's not just about copying steps; it's about understanding the "why" behind the "how," so you can find your own unique style and confidence on the floor. Speaking of being on the floor, here's a little secret: I haven't taught a class in over a year! That's what makes this return so special. I'm absolutely pumped to be back and can't wait to share my passion for dance with all of you. Let's make some magic happen!

I'm Divya Easwaran, a movement director, choreographer, and educator. For over 16 years, I’ve immersed myself in street and club styles like Afro, Hip Hop, Dancehall, Waacking, House, and Breaking, alongside my foundation in Bharatanatyam. I’ve been teaching and creating professionally for the past decade. I specialize in building learning spaces that merge storytelling, rhythm, and diverse styles. My classes are structured and goal-oriented, and I absolutely thrive on turning "I can't dance" into a major breakthrough! My core goal is to help dancers connect their vibrant dance persona with their everyday self, letting the two strengthen each other. Wanna know a quirky fact about me? I have a major ick for felt floorings and simply cannot stand on them barefoot!re

I’m Gagan Somaiah, and versatility is my second name. I’m a dedicated street dancer specializing in Locking, Soul, House, and Hip-Hop, and proud to be part of the Graffitti Crew and OWND Entity. I bring over 15 years of experience, interweaving calmness and deep concepts into every movement. My classes focus on Foundation and Groove first, we don't just learn steps; we break down the music and culture. My sessions maintain a unique balance of fun and discipline, pushing you technically while celebrating the playful side of dance. I believe in teaching the full picture: the origins, history, and groove behind the movement. I adapt my pace to every student, ensuring you feel challenged, connected, and included!

I'm Pradeep–a professional dancer, artist, and entrepreneur currently tackling an MBA at PES University. With over 13 years of experience, I’ve been dedicated to Hip Hop since 2015, representing the FTFW Crew and my own entity in Bangalore. My style is a blend of Hip Hop and other street forms, deeply rooted in culture and infused with a unique South Indian street art identity. In my class, you won't just learn steps; you'll learn the ways to discover your own voice, and find solutions through movement. I keep it simple, but never easy! On a personal note, I have a ritual of wearing the same comfortable clothes for practice and competitions. My fashion rule is: I buy the shoes first, then build the outfit to match! Also, my practice policy is "No food, no practice". I snack every 10 minutes, seriously!

I’m Likith Achaiah, I go by Bboy Achaiah in the breaking world. Breaking is one of the main elements of the culture of Hip Hop. I’ve been breaking since 2008 and I’m also the Co-founder of Black Ice crew. With over 17 years of experience, I’m here to make the most physically challenging and the coolest dance form easy and enjoyable for you! My classes focus on the fundamentals and a technique driven which I believe is the most important and a lot of dancers miss out on. Here’s a fun fact about me, my crewmate and I taught breaking to the late, great, Puneeth Rajkumar, a famous Kannada actor. It feels nice to share what I know and have it passed on. Hopefully I get to train a future Olympian!

I’m Swaroop Kishen, a dance educator and choreographer from Bengaluru, India. With over 15 years of experience, my expertise lies in street dance and hip-hop, though I’ve also trained in ballet, contemporary, and Bharatanatyam. What truly sets me apart is my unique personal style, which includes contortion and bone breaking. In my classes, I focus on clear communication and striking the perfect balance between learning and fun. I’m here to help you identify your strengths and weaknesses, and navigate your journey toward your dance goals. Whether my jokes make you laugh or cry, my passion for sharing the joy of dance with you is always a constant!

I’m Shiva, a freestyle Hip-Hop dancer with over a decade of experience teaching, performing, and competing. I’m deeply rooted in the street dance scene, with training in Hip-Hop, Krump, and Popping. My classes are all about keeping it real. We start from the ground up, building a strong foundation and diving deep into musicality. My goal is to help you develop the freestyle skills to move with confidence and intention, while staying true to the culture's roots. I’m a total fitness freak and I push my students to train hard, but they always thank me later! There’s nothing I love more than being in a room full of energy, music, and students hungry to grow.

I’m Sushan Kanchan also known as o_whatt. I’m a dancer, choreographer and hip-hop artist reppin’ Udupi-Mangalore, now based in Bangalore. I mix movement, music, and real energy. I've been dancing since I was 10 and training in new school Hip-Hop, Afro, and Freestyle since 2019. My classes are a mix of groove, musicality, real-time creativity and not just choreography. I probably dance more in the kitchen than in the studio sometimes. I find food and music to be the best combination when it comes to dance. I teach to pass on the confidence, the vibe and  the culture. My classes are a space to grow, groove, and unlock your own flavour. You’ll leave feeling more you!

I’m Swady Dinesh, born and raised in the Andamans, now traveling across India to teach, train, and vibe with dancers from everywhere. Movement is my language and dance is how I express my energy. I’ve been dancing for 14+ years and my personal style is rooted in Afro styles–-Amapiano, Dancehall, Freestyle, and a little chaos. My classes aren’t just about choreography, they’re about how YOU feel in your body. Each session is a journey where we focus on groove, connection, and unlocking that raw sauce within you. You can expect a mix of vibes, stories, laughter, and a lot of sweat. Teaching lets me connect through movement and share the freedom dance gives me with everyone. My classes are safe spaces to unlock your raw, unapologetic self. We move with intention and heart.

Hey everyone, my name is Dev Mandal and I’ve been doing Afro dance for almost three years now. I love teaching because it allows me to be a better dancer myself and helps me share the knowledge I have gained over the years! I love educating my students on the essence of Azonto which helps them connect and express themselves better. I love being an instructor and even more, I love to boss around with my students!

Hey, this is Pawan Kumar and I’ve been training in House for 4 years. My classes are unique because we go Beyond the Steps. I don't just show you moves; we explore the roots—the history, music, and social context—of House dance. My goal is to empower students to discover their own dance. Instead of showing you how to do a step, I teach you the principles and the intention behind it, allowing you to figure out your unique execution. I paint, sketch, dance, used to train myself in vocals(by myself), and I’ve learned a bit of guitar. I’m also very much into fitness. I guess I could say I’m a jack of all trades. Bad jokes at bad timing is my superpower.

I’m Priya Prabhakaran, a dancer, choreographer, teacher, and a wild soul. I live and love  to express wholeheartedly. I grew up learning and performing Bharatanatyam for eight years. In 2016, I was introduced to street dance styles and have since trained in Waacking, Dancehall, and Afro. What makes me and my classes truly unique is my vibe, it's the energy I bring into every space. Even before I say a full sentence, people feel it. It's in the way I move, connect, and hold space for others. I often create entire pieces mentally, visualizing movements and emotions and then bring them to the floor. Guiding someone to move, to truly connect with their body and expression, feels sacred to me. My classes offer a safe, energetic space where people are encouraged to express themselves freely and let go.

I’m Rakesh Ravikumar, a tamil boy from Chennai. I work as a data scientist by day and dancer other times. I have trained in hip hop, house, breaking, locking and a little bit of everything else. I’ve been training professionally since 2019. What makes my classes unique is that I try to incorporate every style I have learnt so far into my dance and try not to restrict myself. I have just started teaching but I have always wanted to share the knowledge I’ve gained from my teachers with others. Here’s a fun fact about me: I can complete a 1000 episode anime in 2 months because I have done that before(I couldn't think of anything else).

I’m Deepshri Sharma, from Maharashtra. I’ve moved to Bangalore for work. By day, I build software and by night (and always!)I'm an artist. I’ve been dancing all my life, but I went professional about five years ago during lockdown. My training grounds are primarily Waacking, Afro, and Hip-hop, though I dabble in a little of everything. I believe dance is all about exploration, and my choreography aims to reflect that open-minded, unique approach. I'm relatively new to teaching, but I love the energetic exchange. It's inspiring to see how people receive and give back to the conversation, whether it’s a routine or just a chat. Off the dance floor, you can find me shopping aimlessly or indulging my lifelong obsession-Pani Puri!

I'm Shraddha Manapure, a full-time dance explorer, choreographer, and movement lover who finds joy in rhythm and connection. With over eight years of experience across Latin styles, Bollywood, and Contemporary, my classes are all about mixing solid technique with plenty of playfulness. I also love teaching kids, helping them build confidence and unleash their creativity, one groove at a time! For me, teaching is sharing magic. It lets me help people express themselves and grow. Watching my young students open up and own their little smiles is the best feeling. On the quirky side, I absolutely despise tomatoes, can't touch or look at them for too long. And I genuinely can’t wink, not even by accident!

I’m Tishara Sindhe, born and raised right here in Namma Bengaluru. I work in a school and I’m a dedicated class teacher, but I always make time for my true passion which is Dance! While I’ve dipped my toes into Popping, Afro, and Breaking, Hip-hop is where my heart is and I've been training seriously since 2021. I love teaching kids, and my classes are unique because I blend dance skills with fun games to keep the energy high and learning lively. For me, teaching is a constant learning curve; no two days are the same, and it helps me grow as a dancer. Outside of school and the studio, I enjoy face painting and cosplaying. Plus, I've recently unlocked a new skill: cooking food so amazing, you might just skip those fancy restaurants!

I'm Aarushi, a Bangalore-based dance instructor who’s currently pursuing a degree in Psychology—I love understanding both movement and the mind! My foundation is rooted in eight years of Bharatanatyam, which built my strong classical base. To become a versatile teacher, I expanded my skills and vocabulary by completing the Toolbox course in Urban and Hip-Hop. I'm deeply passionate about teaching, not just the steps, but the joy, discipline, and values that come with dance. Sharing what I’ve learned and going home with that sense of peace is the most fulfilling feeling. On a lighter note, I'm a huge animal lover (especially dogs), and I also have a musical background, having trained in Carnatic music!

Now that you've met our amazing instructors, are you ready to learn from the very best Street Style educators in Bangalore?
